Every relationship goes through hard patches. Couples counselling gives both partners a neutral, structured space to understand what’s going wrong and work out what they want next, whether that’s rebuilding or separating well.
A relationship counsellor meets you together, and sometimes separately. They help each of you be heard, notice patterns in how you interact and try new ways of communicating. Sessions usually last about an hour.
